Under 50 Calories: Snack Choices

It’s amazing what you can have for 50 calories.

1 cup of your choice of these vegetables is 30 calories:
  • Alfalfa Sprouts
  • Cabbage
  • Celery
  • Eggplant
  • Green Peppers
  • Lettuce
  • Mushrooms
  • Radish
  • Raw Spinach
  • Summer Squash
  • Turnip
  • Zucchini

1 cup of your choice of these vegetables is 50 calories:
  • Asparagus
  • Broccoli
  • Brussel Sprouts
  • Carrots
  • Cauliflower
  • Cucumbers
  • Green Beans
  • Onions
  • Okra
  • SauerkrautTomato

…. And here are some fruits that are 40 calories in a serving


  • 1 Small Apple
  • Berries 1/2C
  • ¼ of a Cantaloupe
  • Cherries 1/3C
  • Grapes 1/2C
  • 1 Kiwi
  • Mandarin Orange 1/2C
  • 1 Peach
  • Strawberries 3/4C
  • Watermelon 1C
