Getting Coupons Online: It's free money!

I really have never been a big coupon collector. I would always forget to use them, and before you knew it the expiration was past due. I discovered this awesome website, www.coupons.com, where you can just print the coupons that you want for that week. I just go on the site the night before I go grocery shopping and print out what I think I will buy. There are actually some really good ones. Last week I found a $5 off for a $25 Rite Aid purchase! Check it out, it's awesome. Every week there are new ones and you can use the food coupons at any grocery store you want. It's free money!

Left your cell charger at home? No problem!

This post has nothing to do with beauty, but something that I thought everyone would appreciate. I was traveling with Brittany and my good friend Victoria this past weekend. Brittany is hopeless about remembering her cell phone charger. Sometimes I think she does it on purpose. This time was extra annoying because Victoria also forgot her cell phone charger. Victoria mentioned that she read somewhere that most hotels usually have a ton of cell phone chargers that have been forgotten by past guests - like a cell phone charger lost and found. So we went to the front desk of our hotel an asked them if they had any extra cell phone chargers. The concierge comes out with a huge bucket of different cell phone chargers! It was amazing. They had chargers for both of their cell phones! In the past when I have traveled somewhere and forgotten my charger, I would either sparingly use my cell phone or just bite the bullet and buy a new one. Take my advice, next time you forget your charger just ask the hotel and save your money for something better.

Financing Your Beauty Addiction

This beauty addiction sometimes gets a little costly. I happen to be a big reader, and my house is littered with old books. I just discovered how to sell the books on Amazon.com. It’s AMAZING how easy it is.

Here’s how to do it:

Step 1: Go to the Amazon page for the book you want to sell. Underneath the “Add to Shopping Cart” button, you’ll see the “Sell yours here” button. Click it.

Step 2: Select the condition: from Used-Acceptable to New. Check the book—make sure if there’s writing or highlighting on the pages.

Step 3: Write a short description: 1000 characters or less, such as “Some spine wear, no writing on the pages, good reading copy.”

Step 4: Choose the price. Note: go to the used books page for the book. Check and see the other prices of the books. Set the lowest price available (if this is feasible and affordable) or else set your own market value for the book. Another note: Amazon requires that you set the price at least 10% below the Amazon price.

Step 5: Set Shipping type (normally Standard Shipping).

Step 6: Amazon notifies you by email when the book sells. You must ship within two days of the book being sold. Package the book securely and write “Your Amazon Marketplace Purchase” on the envelope. Include a return address. Include the Amazon order slip. You can email the buyer, but this is not required.
